Junior Ashli King earned the April Star of the Month after batting .383 in the 20 games - helping UIS to a 10-10 record. She totaled a team-best 23 hits and 13 runs scored, while recording 12 RBI and four home runs. She had a .633 slugging percentage. King also drew seven walks to help in a .471 on-base percentage. in addition, King totaled 59 putouts and had one error in her 20 games started.She caught four runners stealing and helped turn two double plays. King closed out the season with an All-GLVC third team nod.
