Junior Brittany Miller opened her time at UIS with a bang, batting .500 for the month of February with 10 hits, seven RBI, three doubles and two home runs. The utility player picked up four walks and one stolen base, while taking base on a hit-by-pitch seven times. Miller had a .950 slugging percentage and .677 on-base percentage. She leads the team in hits, RBI and walks. Miller helped propel UIS to a 6-3 start in the first month of the softball season.
