Sophomore Mark Weems (Chicago) got things going for the Prairie Stars in November with double-digit scoring in three games. He averaged 15.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per contest and topped the team in scoring. Weems shot 44 percent from the floor and went 71 percent from the line. He opened the year with a game-high tying 16 points and seven rebounds before following up with a career-high 25 points at Trevecca Nazarene on Nov. 22. Weems has secured a starting spot in the lineup in the early part of the season and is expected to be a main part of the Prairie Star squad.
