Senior Brandon Snowden averaged 12.3 points and 4.5 rebounds during the month of February to be named the male Star of the Month. Snowden helped UIS to three victories, including a win that secured the Prairie Stars' spot in the GLVC Tournament. He shot 45 percent (37-82) from the floor and hit 22-of-33 from the charity stripe. Snowden set a program record with 10 steals against then-No. 4 Drury on February 8. The Chicago native led in scoring and rebounding two times, while leading in steals in six games. On the season, Snowden recorded 10.8 points and 3.5 rebounds per game.
