Denysha Crawford is in her third season as the UIS Cheerleading Head Coach in 2019-20.

A lifelong cheerleader, she has been involved in this sport for over nine years, and has seven years of coaching experience. Crawford attended Grambling State University in Grambling, Louisiana. She was a member of the Tiger Cheerleading Team, and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. 

Crawford has cheerleading experience as an athlete, instructor or coach at Springfield Southeast High School, Grant Middle School, Universal Cheerleading Association, and National Cheerleading Association.
