Men's Golf Finishes 16th at UIndy Invitational

The University of Illinois Springfield men's golf team finished 16th at the UIndy Invitational, where they competed with NCAA Division II teams over 54 holes on Monday and Tuesday.

Tournament Summary

Alex Seibal finished T28 with a 54-hole score of 219 (73-73-73).
The remaining four UIS golfers had a tight spread, finishing with scores of 237-240.
UIS tallied 26 birdies, including nine by Alex Seibal.
The Prairie Stars played best on par 3s, where they averaged 3.38.
Grand Valley State won the team title with a score of 845, Mat Hawryluk was the individual champion after scoring 207 (67, 73, 67).
