Men’s Golf Wraps Up Fall Season in Kentucky

The UIS golf team finished 9th of 16 teams at the Kentucky Wesleyan Fall Invitational over the weekend.

Tournament Summary

Alex Seibal was the top Prairie Star, finishing T10 after shooting 69, 76 (145). Seibal's first round was the second best round of the weekend
The team was in 8th position after shooting 303 in the first round
UIS was 4th at the tournament over par 4s, averaging 3.38 (+15)
Francesco Abba Jr. was second in par 5 scoring, averaging 4.25 (-5)

The UIS men's golf team showed improvement over the fall season and will now have a break in competition until its championship season starting in the early spring.
