NOBLESVILLE, Ind. - The University of Illinois Springfield men's golf team carded a score of 302 on Monday to finish 25th at the Purgatory Regional #4 at the Purgatory Golf Course.

Jacob Wherley (Ozark, Mo.) led the Prairie Stars with a score of 150 after shooting a 74 in the final round. Sophomore
Talon Supak (Washington, Ill.) finished one stroke back of the senior with a score of 151.

Nathan Goecks (Lannon, Wis.) picked up three strokes in the final round, shooting a 76 to finish with a 155. Junior
Kent Gregory (McLeansboro, Ill.) showed the largest improvement from his day one score, picking up seven strokes on his way to a 77 on Monday.
Sophomore
Trevor Flota (Mount Vernon, Ill.) rounded out the Prairie Stars' team efforts with a score of 168.
UIS wraps up the season at the GLVC Championships on April 19-21.
