Walsh Ripka dominated the tennis landscape from 1995-1997, combining to post a 39-6 record at the no. 1 position. In her senior season she ranked 33rd in the nation in singles and 18th in doubles.
Dorothy was undefeated in UIS' NAIA region in singles and doubles in both of her seasons and earned NAIA Academic All-America honors in both years. She partnered with Lauren Brown and compiled a 37-4 doubles record.
Originally from the Springfield area, she was a standout at Sacred Heart-Griffin, qualifying for the state tournament all four years. At Springfield College, she reached the National Tournament and was a NJCAA Academic All-America.
She is now a practicing attorney in Cincinnati, Ohio.
